How to Install a Wiper Motor on 2008 Jeep Liberty?

Before fitting the rear wiper motor, insert the bezel and grommet into the hole for the rubber seal on the rear wiper motor shaft of the liftgate outer panel. After that, secure the rear wiper motor and bracket system independently onto the inner panel of the liftgate. Hold the mounting bracket against the lift gate and secure it by tightening the three screws to 5.5 Nm (49 in. lbs.). Link up the wire harness connector with the motor receptacle and start to put the liftgate trim panel in place. Following that, fix the rear wiper arm back onto the output shaft and lastly, attach the negative battery cable.
