How to Safely Install an Instrument Cluster to Ensure Optimal Functionality on 2008 Jeep Patriot?

Before beginning, you should first remove the battery cable, disable SRS and give it two minutes to eject the remaining electricity from its capacitor. Place the instrument cluster beside the instrument panel so you can connect the wires from the cluster to the back of the case. Put the instrument cluster tabs into their corresponding holes on the instrument panel support and fasten these by using and tightening all four screws to 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.). Place the cluster bezel onto the dash and attach the battery negative cable. If the indicator lights don't work properly, remove the battery negative cable, wait five minutes, attach it again and turn on the ignition switch to make the instrument cluster relearn all vehicle equipment.
