2009 Chrysler Aspen ABS Control Module Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service the ABS Control Module on 2009 Chrysler Aspen?
A: You should first remove the left front tire and wheel assembly before starting Electronic Brake Control Module service. Remove the plug from the ABM module first and then remove the two screws holding the module in place. Part the two units by at least 38 mm (1.5 in.) to preserve the pressure sensor and connection, to keep it from breaking and decreasing the tool's reliability. Avoid touching the sensor terminals on the HCU and the contact pads on the ABM to stop possible contamination and problems later. You don't have to remove the HCU to disconnect the ABM module.
