How to Maintain Your Second Row Seat Heater on 2009 Chrysler Aspen?

To start work on the second row seat heater, first cut off the negative cable connecting to the battery. To take out the seat cushion side, open the cushion cover and also remove the rear center floor console. Separate the connector from the inoperative heated second row cushion and remove the routing clip from the console bracket. Remove the heater element carefully from the foam cushion so that just a little bit of foam is removed. Unplug the negative cable from the battery and isolate it again. Then take off the seat back trim cover and the inner second row seat cushion to seat back bracket trim cover. Unplug the power cable from the back of the inoperative second row seat back and remove the clip connecting the harness to the seat. In the end, pull the heater element off the cushion, making sure you leave enough foam in place.
