2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser Coolant Temperature Sensor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Install a Coolant Temperature Sensor in 2.0L/2.4L Engines on 2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
A: Make sure to install the engine coolant temperature sensor on the 2.0L/2.4L non-turbo car, torque it to 19 Nm (168 in. lbs.) and then plug in the electrical connector. After that, fill the cooling system and add the negative battery cable. Attach a sensor to the turbo engine and tighten its torque to 19 Nm with torque wrench, connect the electrical wire and place the top shut strut as final assembly. Then, add fluid to the cooling system and link the negative battery cable back.
