How to Install a Cruise Control Switch and Airbag Module on 2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

The speed control switch is placed in the steering wheel and runs through the clock spring device, beneath the air bag module. Anytime you are required to take out the air bag module, just like when changing a seat belt, make sure to follow the real safety procedures. First, attach the electrical connector, mount the switch and tighten the screws to 1.6 newtons-meters (15 inch-pounds). Check that the switch's rubber seal is all the way around it. Next, attach the air bag, then reconnect the negative battery cable and finally add the air cleaner lid as you hook up both the inlet air temperature sensor and makeup air hose.
