How to Install a Throttle Cable and Linkage on 2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Before installing the cable and linkage, put the housing end fitting and its grommet in the panel and make sure that the grommet sits properly. Then, fit the cable housing onto the throttle body side of the linkage. In the vehicle, keep the pedal up and put the throttle cable and retainer cable above the upper shaft of the pedal. At the dash panel, attach the end of the throttle cable fitting into the grommet by using the clip between the two. After that, set the throttle lever all the way open from the engine compartment and install the throttle cable.
