How to Install a Throttle Cable and Linkage on 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Push the housing end fitting and grommet into the dash panel, ensuring you insert the grommet correctly, to start installing the throttle cable and linkage. After that, slide the cable housing at the throttle body end into the bracket on the engine. In the vehicle, press the pedal and run the throttle cable and its retainer together up the pedal shaft. Pull the retainer clip at the dash and insert it between the final part of the throttle fitting and the grommet. At last, from inside the engine compartment, turn the throttle lever completely to open and attach the throttle cable.
