  A: Start by extending the throttle body throttle lever all the way open which you can access from the engine bay. After that, pull the throttle cable away from the throttle body cam. Inside, raise the pedal and take out the cable retainer plus the throttle cable from the top end of the pedal shaft. First, open the retainer clip at the cable on the dash panel and on the throttle cable and then remove the cable and grommet out of the dash from the bottom. The final step is to tug on both ears for the retaining threads and lift the throttle cable clear from the bracket or if your throttle assembly uses a slide snap, pull the retaining tab out of the hole first, then move the cable out of its bracket.
