  The process starts with you holding the throttle body throttle lever all the way back from inside the engine compartment. Take the cable away from the throttle body cam, then while inside the vehicle, push the accelerator pedal up and unhook both the cable retainer and cable from the upper piece of the pedal. After that, take out the retainer clip from the throttle cable and grommet above the dash panel, then remove the cable and grommet from the dash through the engine compartment. Push in both ends of the retaining ears on the throttle cable or if the design has a slide snap, release the locking tab from the hole and the assembly will separate from the bracket. While installing, push the fitting and grommet from the housing end into the dash panel until you hear a click, showing the grommet is in place. Put the cable housing from the throttle body around the cable mounting bracket bolt onto the engine. Within the vehicle, lift the pedal and put the throttle cable and cable retainer onto the pedal shaft near the top. Clip the retainer between the throttle cable fitting and grommet at the dash and then, from above, open the throttle and install the cable into the engine compartment.

  First, put the housing end fitting and grommet into the dash panel and see that the grommet is correctly in place. After that, place the cable housing at the Throttle Body end into the bracket mounted on the engine. In the car, lift up the pedal and insert the throttle and cable retainer at the top of the pedal shaft. At the dash panel, hook the cable retainer clip on the end of the throttle cable fitting onto the grommet. After that, from inside the engine compartment, fully open the throttle lever and feed the cable to its place.
