How to Remove and Replace a Shock Absorber in the Rear Suspension on 2009 Chrysler Sebring?

Pull back the carpet covering the luggage compartment to view and snake out the nuts from the upper mounting point of the shock absorber. Unscrew the two nuts that link the shock assembly to the vehicle's body bracket. Raise and hold the vehicle, take off the wheel mounting nuts and remove both the rear tire and wheel assembly. After that, take out the lower shock mounting nut and bolt. At last, lower the shock assembly from the body bracket and raise it out above the rear suspension.
