Put a new gasket (2) onto your throttle body if it's a replacement and then put in four new j-nuts (1). Watch out for over torqueing, because it can negatively impact either the throttle body, gaskets, bolts or intake manifold. Then, link up the throttle body (4) to the intake manifold and put the throttle body bracket (3) in place with bolt (2) only turned by hand. Hand tighten four bolts (1) and assure the throttle body is pushed and fixed in place by a mandatory cross pattern and torque it tight to 7.5 Nm (65 in. lbs.). Screw the bracket bolt until you achieve a torque of 25 Nm or 18 ft. lbs. Attach the electrical connector (1) onto the throttle body (2), put on the clean air hose and tighten the clamps to achieve 4 Nm (35 in. lbs.). Join the negative battery cable again and tighten the nut so it measures 5 Nm (45 in. lbs.). After everything is checked, zero out the fault codes and perform the Etc Relearn action with a scan tool.
