The first step to servicing and repairing the throttle body on a 2.0/2.4L engine is to remove the engine cover and the negative battery cable. After that, open the air cleaner cover, remove the air temperature sensor and makeup air hose and disconnect the inlet hose from the throttle body. Lift out the wire harness clip from the air tube and pull the electrical connector off the throttle body. Subsequent to that, take off the bolts holding the throttle body support bracket in place, followed by the bolts fastening the throttle body.
