How to Maintain a MAP Sensor for Optimal Performance on 2009 Chrysler Town & Country?

Always start by cleaning the space near the sensor to stop any dirt or debris from getting into the intake manifold. There is a MAP sensor placed on the intake manifold. The first step should be to isolate the negative battery cable from where it is attached at the battery. Following this step, remove the electrical connector from the sensor. Last, loosen the MAP sensor from the intake manifold by rotating it 1/4 turn in the opposite direction of the car's hands.
