How to Install the Alternator on a 2.0L/2.4L Engine on 2009 Dodge Avenger?

To install the alternator on 2.0/2.4 engine move the A/C compressor out of the way, position the alternator and loosely install the mounting bolts. Tighten them to 54 Nm, connect B+ terminal, and plug on the field circuit. Finally install the idler pulley, serpentine belt, splash shield and reconnect the battery.
