Before you install the generator on 2.0 and 2.4L engines, take the A/c compressor off its bracket and move it to the side. Place the generator where you want it and make sure terminal 1 is in front of line 2 for the air conditioner. Put in the lower and upper mounting bolts for now and tighten them according to the engine type which is Gas: 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.) and Diesel: 26 Nm (19 ft. lbs.).
