  • Q: How to Maintain the Knock Sensor on 2.0 and 2.4L Engines on 2009 Dodge Avenger?
    A: Before servicing the knock sensor on 2.0 and 2.4L engines, remove the negative battery cable first. After that, take out the bolt that holds the knock sensor which can be found on the side of the cylinder block, in front of the starter and under the intake manifold. Be careful when holding the sensor, still connected to the electrical parts and unplug the connector from the sensor.
