How to Remove a Rack and Pinion Steering Gear on 2009 Dodge Avenger?

To remove the rack and pinion, siphon power steering fluid, access to the Intermediate shaft coupling and lock the steering wheel. Raise the vehicle and remove the wheel assembly and separate the outside of the tie rod ends. Remove engine mounts, cross member bolts and hoses. Finally, lower the crossmember and remove the rack & pinion.
