How to Remove the Rear Lower Control Arm on 2009 Dodge Caliber?

It's necessary to elevate and support your car before attempting to remove the rear lower control arm. Then, use a wrench to take the wheel mounting nuts (3) out and then remove the whole tire and wheel assembly (1) from the lug studs. If you have the right bars, stabilize the link's lower stud while you unscrew and remove the link nut (2) attaching the lower control arm (4). After that, remove the lower shock mounting nut (3), the shock bolt (1) and the stay brace mounting screws (2) to take the stay brace off. After that, unscrew the nut (2) and bolt (3) attaching the lower control arm (4) to the trailing link (1) and also remove nut (6) and bolt (5) securing the arm to the crossmember (7) before pulling out the arm.
