  A: To remove the fuel rail, first ensure safety by putting on protective clothing and eye protection in order to avoid injury from contact with the fuel and inhalation. Start by releasing the fuel system pressure and removal of the negative battery cable. Disconnect the fuel line from the fuel rail taking care to wrap it in shop towels to catch the gasoline spillage. Next remove the fuel line, unlock and disconnect electrical connectors from the fuel injectors and remove the wiring harness from fuel rail studs. Next, go ahead and remove the 2 bolts holding you fuel rail in place and then take the fuel rail and injectors out of the intake manifold. At last, remove the fuel injectors off the fuel rail.
