Dodge Caliber Fuel Rail Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to install a Fuel Rail on Dodge Caliber?
    A:
At first, put a little clean engine oil on the O-ring of each injector before placing each into the fuel rail and securing them with a retaining clip. After that, stick the Fuel Injector nozzles into the openings of the Intake Manifold and make sure they are all seated firmly. Align and install the fuel rail by putting in and tightening the 2 bolts to a tightness of 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.). Place the wiring harness on the fuel rail, then along the fuel injectors and lock the connectors. Attach the fuel line to the fuel rail and then join the negative Battery Cable back to the car. Use the Scan Tool Fuel System Test to make sure there are no fuel leaks during pressurization of the fuel system.
