How to Service and Repair a Lash Adjuster on 2009 Dodge Caliber?

To work on the lifter or lash adjuster, take off the cylinder head cover first, then the camshafts. Then, take out the camshaft lash adjusters one at a time to ensure you're doing it for all the lash adjusters. If the lash adjusters will be reused, mark every camshaft bucket to make sure they go back in their original position. Keep in mind you must swap out camshaft lash adjusters if either the camshafts or cylinder head is being replaced.
