How to Service and Repair a Lash Adjuster on 2008 Dodge Caliber?

Before handling the service or repair of the lifter or lash adjuster, first remove the cylinder head cover and the camshafts. Then, remove the camshaft lash adjusters, doing so for each one of them. If the lash adjusters are going to be reused, mark the camshaft buckets so each goes back to where it came from. If either the cylinder head or camshafts have been changed, you need to replace the related lash adjusters as well.
