Secure the cable to the transmission housing using a fastener and a bolt tightened to 11 Nm (8 ft. lbs.), then put the battery cable retaining pushpins, fasteners and routing clips in place until the cable is in the correct position. Drop the vehicle and link the battery negative cable to the right front strut tower. Then, carry on with the battery connection process. Then, install the spare tire cover. For the battery, run the negative cable to the rear compartment, attach the cable with the fastener to the body, connect it to the power source and only then attach the spare tire cover.
