    A: First, slide the steering column opening cover reinforcement over the bracket, then secure it in place by attaching with two screws. After that, insert the steering column cover into the vehicle and attach the end of the release cable to the emergency brake handle. When the vehicle comes equipped, connect the wire harness connector to the trunk release switch. Fit the steering column cover into place on the instrument panel, making sure the retainers are fully snapped in using your fingers on its upper right edge.
