2010 Dodge Challenger Steering Column Cover Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Install a Steering Column Cover on 2010 Dodge Challenger?
A: The first step is to attach the instrument panel steering column cover reinforcement to the bracket, hold the opening cover against it and fasten the supporting screws tight. Place the steering column cover into the vehicle and join the release cable to the emergency brake release handle after that. Should there be a harness available, attach the wire harness connector to the trunk release switch. Lift the steering column cover, fit it onto the instrument panel and press down on the right side and the top to secure the retainers properly. Attach the steering column cover to the instrument panel with screws that you tighten firmly and finally, hook up the negative battery cable. Whenever power to the door module in Automatic Express Up equipped vehicles is cut off, it needs to be recalibrated.
