2009 Dodge Charger Power Steering Hose Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service a Power Steering Hose on 2009 Dodge Charger?
A: Be sure to unplug and isolate the battery negative cable from its post to start servicing the return hose on a rear-wheel drive vehicle. Withdraw the power steering fluid through the pump's reservoir and then push the car up and support it. It is necessary to carefully remove the belly pan and then pull out the hose clamp to remove the return hose at the cooler. After that, take out the screw that holds the routing clamps for the pressure and return hoses to their positions on the engine cradle's right side. Take out the return hose nut from the steering gear, next remove the return hose from the routing clip on the cooling module and finally take the return hose out of the car.
