  A: Before fixing or repairing the Evaporative Emission Control Canister on a 4 Door Quad Cab, insert the two plastic canister locating legs into the top of the fuel tank. After that, install pin 6 and push it down. First, remove the fuel tank, then fasten the connector for the ESIM switch to the electrical system. Install all hoses and pipes from the vapor good (EVAP canister) and the ESIM switch to connect both parts. Inspect the ESIM switch, filter and EVAP canister purge solenoid vapor/vacuum lines too since leaks there may cause a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) to be recorded on the car. Installing the fuel tank comes at the very end.
