How to Maintain a Sway Bar Link in the Rear Suspension on 2009 Dodge Durango?

You should start by elevating the car, supporting it correctly and removing the back wheel to replace the sway bar link. Use a jack to hold the rear of the car and take off the left sway bar link skid plate before you continue. After that, take out the rear fuel tank strap bolt and let the strap hang by its own weight. Guide the fuel tank under the drive shaft and insert a piece of wood into the space between the frame and the tank to allow access for the upper sway bar link bolt. Remove the upper link nut and bolt at the frame, then the lower link nut off the sway bar. After that, take off the sway bar link.
