2009 Dodge Grand Caravan Intake Manifold Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove and Replace an Intake Manifold for Upper on 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan?
A: You should first disconnect and insulate the negative battery cable before replacing the upper intake manifold (3). Also, disconnect the IAT sensor from its cable and then take out the air inlet resonator from the throttle body hose. Draw the EVAP hose away from the throttle body and pull out the ETC wiring connector on the throttle body (1). Take out the brake booster hose from the intake manifold and unhook the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector (1) and the PCV hose. Disconnect the EGR tube per the directions found in the service manual. Then, undo the intake manifold bolts (1) and get rid of the manifold (4). While the top part is taken out, cover the bottom intake manifold so no dirt gets inside. After that, clean and check the upper intake manifold.
