To remove the muffler, get the vehicle up and off weight of the rear suspension. Apply penetrating oil to clamp nuts, loosen the band clamp and separate the muffler from the converter pipe. Remove rubber isolators by hand (use soapy water to help). Clean pipe ends and remove worn parts.
