How to Install a Steering Column Cover for Lower on 2009 Dodge Journey?

Push the tilt lever downward to released position so that you can install the steering column cover. Install the lower shroud over the tilt lever and over the column, then the upper shroud and make sure the two shrouds are clipped together. Three screws secure the lower shroud to the steering column. With the column tilt at full up push the tilt lever upward to lock in the column. Lastly, install the steering column cover reinforcement with four mounting screws. Lastly, put on the steering column opening cover.
