How to Service the Cigarette Lighter in a 12 Volt Power Outlet on 2009 Dodge Journey?

The 12 Volt Cigarette Lighter should be serviced by first removing and isolating the battery negative cable. Move on by placing your removed tool with the tips next to the bosses. Gently pull the lighter remover back and forth to remove the base through its mounting ring. As the last step, remove the wires from the base.
