How to Install a Hood Hinge on 2009 Dodge Nitro?

After marking the hinge's position, fit the hinge (2) on the vehicle based on these marks. Attach the hinge (2) to the main body and seal it with nuts (3). Make sure the fasteners are nice and tight at around 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.). Following this, fit the hinge (2) underneath the hood, insert nuts (1) by hand and torque them to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.) with a wrench. Later, place the hood support cylinder and then secure the two screws (1) to the fender applique.
