How to Maintain the Right-Side Rocker Arm on 2009 Dodge Nitro?

Always disconnect the battery's negative cable right before servicing the valve rocker arm on the right side. Heat the cylinder head to remove the cover. When taking out the rocker arm on No. 4 cylinder, set the crankshaft so it is rotated to where cylinder No. 1 is at the BDC intake position. Crankshaft No. 1 should be turned to its BDC when it hits the combustion stroke. Do the same as for cylinder No. 1, except use crankshaft rotation to reach TDC exhaust on cylinders No. 3 and No. 5. Cylinders No. 2 and No. 6 must be turned until cylander No. 1 is at TDC ignition stroke. Press the valve spring down using the Remover/Installer 8516A, then remove the rocker arm.
