How to Install a Washer Pump on 2009 Dodge Nitro?

The first step is to put a new grommet seal/filter screen into the mounting hole in the washer reservoir. Fit the inlet nipple of the washer pump onto the rubber grommet seal/filter screen in the washer reservoir and push the washer pump/motor unit downwards, pressing the nipple tightly against the screen. Put the pump/motor housing on the washer receptacle until the top lining up, then press until the motor housing locks into position. Thread the old front and rear washer hoses onto the two barbed outlet nipples from the pump and then reconnect the wire harness for the washer from the front module to the top of the washer pump casing. At the end, attach the negative cable back and then fill the washer tank with the fluid you removed.
