How to Remove a Heater Core on 2009 Dodge Ram 1500?

In order to access the heater core, one needs to disconnect the negative battery cable to switch off the air bag system. Take off the HVAC housing, the foam seal and unscrew the flange. You will need to disengage the retaining tab, remove the flange, and draw out the heater core and inspect and replace foam seals as needed.
