How is the Hood Latch Installed on 2009 Dodge Ram 1500?

The first step is to link the hood latch cable (1) with the hood latch (5) before anything else. After that, set the hood latch into place on the upper radiator crossmember and loosely bolt in the two bolts (2) that hold it. Reach underneath the car and line up the hood latch with the upper radiator crossmember, using the alignment marks made while you were taking it out. After this, tighten each bolt to 11 Nm (8 ft. lbs.). Requirements may mean you need to move the hood forward or backward.
