How to Service and Repair a Wheel Bearing on 4WD on 2009 Dodge Ram 2500?

Before servicing or repairing the wheel bearing on a 2500 or 3500 - 4WD vehicle, first lift the vehicle and support it, then take off the wheel and tire assembly. Then, unscrew the hub extension mounts and separate the extension from the rotor when it is fitted. Take out the brake caliper and after that remove the cotter pin and hub nut from the shaft on the axle. Afterwards, take out the caliper adapter, as well as the disc brake rotor. Get rid of the rack speed sensor wire, then remove the hub/bearing by taking out the four bolts.
