How Are Coil Springs and Their Components Installed on 2009 Dodge Ram 2500?

After taping the isolator pad above the coil spring, carefully seat the spring in the lower part of the suspension arm. Put the compressor DD-1278 over the lower arm of your suspension, through the coil spring and into the frame's shock hole, afterward, tighten the tool by running the nut clockwise. After that, put on the steering knuckle and tighten the upper ball joint with the nut to 50 ft. lb. Once you have removed the spring compressor tool, hold the lower control arm at the far side, as this will hold up the vehicle's weight. Mount the shock absorber and the stabilizer link as the next step. With all these components arm supports, support, wheel n tire assembly, lower the vehicle to the ground. Alright, bring the vehicle to the floor so that all its weight is on the wheels, tighten the bolts at the front and rear control arm frame pivot points to 285 Nm (210 ft. lbs.) and then do a wheel alignment.
