How to Replace a Rear Door Hinge Without Removing the Door on 2009 Dodge Ram 3500?

You don't need to take down the door to complete this if you replace the hinges individually and leave epoxy coated washers inside. Open the front door, then place the upper hinge on it and mark both the door and B-pillar with a grease pencil. Unscrew the nut and bolt on the hinge near the door first, then take out the three bolts holding it in place on the B-pillar. When those are removed, remove the hinge itself. To install the lower hinge, imprint the waypoint on the door and B-pillar using a grease pencil and set the B-pillar trim aside for a moment. When you're ready, first take out the bolt and nut holding the hinge to the door and then take out the two bolts that hold the hinge to the B-pillar. Ultimately, detach the bolt found inside the vehicle and under the hinge, then take out the hinge.
