How to Remove an Automatic Transmission Shifter on 2009 Jeep Commander?

To remove transmission shifter, access the shift lever assembly (remove console parts) Move to PARK, remove transmission shift cable and park lock cable and remove wiring connectors. Remove bolts holding the shifter assembly to the floor pan and remove assembly from the vehicle.
