While waiting for installation, treat the rocker arms with clean engine oil. Move the crankshaft around until cylinder No. 1 is at bottom dead center of the intake stroke, then use the metric thread gauge Size 2. Crankshaft for cylinder No. 1 should be rotated to the point before the piston reaches bottom dead center combustion stroke. Adjust the crankshaft so that No. 1's exhaust stroke on cylinder No. 1 aligns exactly with the tip of the crankshaft. For both cylinders No. 2 and No. 6, crank the engine to make cylinder No. 1 positioned at its TDC ignition stroke. Leave it to the last step to secure the cylinder head cover.
