How to Detach the Hood Hinge on 2009 Jeep Liberty?

To remove the hood hinge, raise the hood and remove two screws from the fender applique. Use a trim stick to separate it from the fender. The hood doesn't need to be removed for hinge replacement. Mark the hinge position, then remove the nuts and take off the hinge.
