How to Service and Repair a Door Latch Assembly on a Half Rear Door on 2009 Jeep Wrangler?

The first step to work on the rear door latch on the half rear door is to take out the door trim panel. The next step is to get rid of the nut above the exterior handle. Take the latch rods out and then remove the electrical connector hook. The latch lock screws must be taken out and the latch should be removed from the door afterward.
