How to Service and Repair a Rear Door Latch Assembly on 2010 Jeep Wrangler?

To fix or service the rear door latch, remove the carrier plate (6) at first. You'll notice the similarity between the front and the rear door. Following this step, take apart the actuator rods and then remove the electrical connector (1 and the latch harness cables (3). After that, slide the latch off the latch bracket tabs (2) and take out the latch.
