How to Detach a Hood Hinge on 2009 Jeep Wrangler?

Before taking out the hood hinge, remove the cowl top panel from the car first. You don't need to take out the entire hood to replace the hinges, because you can do them one at a time. Set a suitable device underneath the hood, then take out the bolts that connect the hinge to the body. Draw around the hood hinge positions on the hood with a grease pencil or similar tool to improve the installation. After that, take out the bolts from the hinge to hood hinges and remove the hinge.
