  A: When installing a windshield washer reservoir for cars with an optional diesel engine, first confirm that the U-nut 8 is good and correctly located at the top of the radiator fan shroud 1. Place the washer reservoir 3 into the left front corner of the engine compartment and align the T-tab 4 on the reservoir top with the matching slots in the front shroud and the two integral tabs 7 on the bottom with their respective slots in the shroud. Attach the integral mounting tab on the reservoir top by screwing the upper most screw into the top of the shroud with a 2 to 9 Nm (79 in. lbs.) tightening force. You should ensure the washer pump nipples connect the front and rear washer hoses, so the washer systems work correctly. Return the two washer hoses 6 to the outboard side of the washer pump and then join the engine compartment wire harness to the washer pump/motor unit 5. Now, place the washer fluid back into the reservoir and link the battery negative cable back up.
