How to Service and Repair a Fuel Filler Neck on 2010 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

For service and repairs of the fuel filler neck, take out the air cleaner lid and makeup air hose, then remove the negative battery cable. Take off the cap at the fuel filler tube and take away the screws securing the fuel filler neck. Raise and hold the vehicle up, then remove the right rear wheel. Remove the back part of the inner splash shield. If your vehicle is carrying extra gas, drain the tank right away. After that, separate the hose from the fuel tank neck and remove the fuel filler tube assembly.
