How to Detach the Antenna from Both a Sedan and a Convertible on 2010 Dodge Avenger?

Before removing the radio antenna, disconnect the battery negative cable and isolate it. With the sedan, pull down the headliner and then remove both of the antenna's loosened connections, unfasten the antenna base and take it out. When dealing with a convertible, pull the battery negative cable out and away from the battery, remove the decklid liner as needed, detach the electrical connectors, remove the antenna base screw and then take out the antenna.
